I understand why people don't like this quest. I just made 45th level and can't get past Darth Thanaton. As for 42 level - congratulations - What are you wearing? How can you survive on this planet at 42 without argoing every monster just trying to get to this quest?
I thought this quest was designed to give insights into one's character - perhaps question the path the character is taking. But from what I've read here and experienced in the quest it just seems to be an xp quest with no real benefits except massive stim and repair bills. I see no evidence the quest is important at all - a real shame. I make that assumption from the lack of comments - which I take to mean players just skip the quest. A real shame because this quest seemed to have some interesting roleplaying aspects but the quest designer took that concept and just used it as an excuse to fight one major monster after another. I will not waste my time trying it again! The question introduction seemed to give players an opportunity here to interact with the ghosts inside your character - but alas that seems to be nothing but window dressing. Why smack your head against the wall for no reason. You get no xp or treasure from defeating individual monsters until the quest is complete.
With the rewards being:
Experience Award 9755
Credit Reward 5360
Now if you use just two stims at your level - I've used 9, the credit reward does not cover the price of two stims! The xp reward for what you need to accomplish this quest is a joke. A bad joke!
This quest seems to be a missed opportunity and very poor designing, since there is no reason at all given players to complete this quest at 44/45th level. I thought it was a mandatory part of my class quest line when I tried to do it, but have found out now it is optional.
Now the 42 "xpert" player gave no advice. Did not discuss the rewards. They just felt folks needed to know their claim. Oh well, at least they are happy...
