Nar Shaddaa Republic Datacron Locations

In this guide, we provide you with maps and complete directions to each of the Republic datacrons hidden throughout Nar Shaddaa in The Old Republic (be sure to check out our Taris Guide too). Datacrons are ancient devices that will provide you with permanent stat boosts, or matrix shards that can be combined to create items for your 'relic' equipment slots. On Nar Shaddaa, there are a total of 4 stat boosts, and 1 matrix shard - complete details on how to find each can be found below.

Aim +3

This datacron is located in the Nikto Sector within the Swoop Bike Drag sub area in the northeast portion of the map. After entering the Swoop Bike Drag, follow the path left and look for the stack of light brown crates leading up to a canvas awning. Use the crates to climb up onto the awning and then carefully make your way up one of the attached supporting cables. At the top follow the pipes to a sign that you can use to jump up onto the landing. Run east along the landing and you should be able to see the datacron perched on top of a pillar in the center of the room.  Jump down onto the cable connected to the landing and carefully follow it straight to the awaiting datacron.

Strength +3

Start by heading deep into Shadow Town to the south west corner of the access tunnels.  Shortly before, and to the right, of the elevator that takes you to Camp 27 there are some stacked crates you can climb to get up onto a second level. Follow the catwalk and take your first right across a fenced in catwalk. On the other side is a small room with an opening in the fence in the back left, and some boxes you can use to jump out onto a nearby girder. Follow the girder to the right until you come to a pipe coming out of the wall to your right. Use this pipe to jump onto the nearby light, and then jump from there onto the large rectangular light behind it. Directly beside this light is a narrow section of pipe leading over to the opposite wall, jump onto it and then drop down onto the pipe below. Follow this pipe along the wall up to a catwalk that wraps around the corner. On the other side is an elevator that takes you down to the access tunnels where your datacron awaits at the end.

Note: This datacron is located in a heroic area so you may want to bring a friend or two.

This datacron can be found in the Gauntlet Gang Area of the Red light District. After entering the Red Light District open your map and look for the elevator near the center, but more to the right. Take the elevator down and immediately look right for some green neon signs. Head underneath the signs and travel right up two ramps. At the top look right again and you should see a bench you can use to jump onto a nearby awning.  Climb all the way to the top of the awning and onto the catwalk, directly in front of you will be an elevator to the red light sector catwalks. The datacron is in plain sight sitting on a platform ahead.

Cunning +3

The cunning datacron can be found in the High Security Lockdown portion of the Network Security District in the Industrial Sector. To get there, head east from the Industrial Sector taxi and travel to the most eastern point of the Republic Research division where you’ll find an elevator. Take the elevator down to the Network Security District and then travel south to the High Security Lockdown area. Once there follow the path all the way east through the prison yard, where you will find a couple crates leading to a low catwalk. Follow the catwalk to the console labeled elevator and use it to travel to the Incinerator Room. Run through the Incinerator room and activate the console at the other side by selecting this code from the list that pops up (326:3827). This will open the door where you will find your datacron.

Note: Beside the datacron is an old slot machine which when activated provides you with a slot decoder you will need for the next datacron.

Yellow Matrix Shard

After picking up the slot decoder from beside the cunning datacron, backtrack to the Network Security District. In the large room located in the direct center of the map there is a stack of crates on the eastern wall. Climb these crates and then scale the pipes beside them up to the maintenance terrace. At the back there is a prize machine that when activated with your slot decoder, unlocks the datacron attached to it.
