Taris Imperial Datacron Locations

In this guide, we provide you with maps and complete directions to each of the Imperial datacrons hidden throughout Taris in The Old Republic .Datacrons are ancient devices that will provide you with permanent stat boosts, or matrix shards that can be combined to create items for your 'relic' equipment slots. On Taris, there are a total of 5 stat boosts - complete details on how to find each can be found below.

Endurance +3

In the northern part of the Republic Resettlement Zone in the Municipal Utility District head to the beginning of a ledge, located at 1367,-208. Continue along this ledge until you come to what appears to be a crashed star ship shell connected to the ledge by some metal girders. On the other side is a narrow pipe that will lead you to another ledge. Follow this ledge until you are above a large cement platform that juts out from the wall. Drop down onto the platform and look for a hole in the center, your datacron is located down this hole at the end of, and inside, an old broken pipe.

Cunning +4

In the south west corner of the Brell Settlement area head inside the abandoned pirate cave (see map). Continue through the cave and take the lift at the end down to the Republic Mines. About halfway through the mines you will enter a large square room, and you should see the datacron straight ahead on some scaffolding. Use the bulldozer to your left to climb onto the nearby scaffolding and then jump along the pipes to get onto the large crates. Jump off the crates onto the nearby pipe running along the wall and use them to get to the large set of scaffolding. Jump over to the final large stack of crates and drop down to claim the datacron.

Aim +4

In the Tularan Marsh, head to (1174, 276) just north of the Brejik’s Run Outpost. There you’ll find a large pipe serving as a ramp up onto the collapsed buildings. After climbing the pipe head left across a large twisted girder onto the next platform. From this point you can see it’s a fairly clear path along the ruins as they spiral in towards the center platform containing the datacron.

Note: Be careful when jumping between platforms, some gaps are larger than they appear.

Presence +4

This datacron can be found deep inside Transportation Station 5, the entrance of which is in the north east of Tularan Marsh (see map).  After entering the station, fight your way through to the large perfectly square area all the way at the end. On your left you will see a small Imperial landing craft parked in front of a large leaning piece of concrete. Climb the concrete and follow the pipe at the top which will lead you to some metal scaffolding. You will find your datacron just ahead at the end of the scaffolding.

Note: Located in a heroic area. Not for those afraid of heights.

This datacron can be found in the Jedi Enclave Excavation Site heroic area within The Sinking City. Start by heading to the back of the area and near the middle (see map), climb the massive metal girder leading up. At the top jump off to your right onto the girder below and then travel back under the one you jumped off. Carefully jump over to the next twisted girder and follow it until you come to a pillar. Go around the right side of the pillar and walk to the broken edge of the beam. If you look down below you will see a shiny piece of metal sticking out of the side of the next pillar, this is your target. Take a running jump off the girder and you should make it. You wiil take some damage however so be sure to be at full health just in case. After you land, head around the left side of the pillar and jump over to the broken girder. Follow the girder up to a platform, and then follow the platform to your datacron.
